Waxing
All areas waxed are prepped prior to waxing and soothed afterwards. We never double dip and use the highest standards of sanitation for waxing to ensure your safety and ours.
We use three different lines of wax to ensure the best possible experience for our clients. Different types of wax work better on different areas of the body and our students are educated and trained to work with all three.
Nufree Nudesse is a soy based hair removal product. Applied with a stick and removed with a strip. It is completely botanical and safe for the entire body. It is antimicrobial so it’s safe, clean and germ free and contains no animal products.
Escentials Wax is an aromatherapy based wax that indulges your senses as well as giving you a smooth finish. A natural beeswax base ensures that it is gentle enough to be used on even the most sensitive skin types. This wax is a hard wax that is ideal for sensitive and smaller areas.
Clean and Easy is our roll on wax that is ideal for larger surfaces. It is rolled on the area and removed with a strip.

A facial for NORMAL SKIN is performed to deeply cleanse and maintain the skin by exfoliating excess dead cells. The goal is to maintain the smoothness and moisture levels.
The facial for the NORMAL/COMBINATION skin rebalances oil and moisture in the skin, removes Comedones or other skin blockages. Smoothes skin texture, as well as reduces oil in the T-zone, and hydrates.
The facial for DRY/DEHYDRATED skin exfoliations dead cells, replenishes lost moisture through deep hydrating, and protects by restoring (lubricating) the skin’s moisture barrier.
What can I expect during a facial?
Phase I: Light Cleansing
To remove makeup and surface debris to enable the Esthetician to do a thorough skin analysis.
Phase II: Analysis and Consultation
The analysis and brief consultation establish skin type and condition for determining present and future facial treatments, as well as suggestions for home care products.
Phase III: Deep Cleansing, Exfoliation, and Extractions
To continue with a deeper cleansing. This step includes exfoliation to help remove deeper debris, dead skin cells, excess oils, as well as to soften clogged pores and any breakout lesions. Extractions are performed after the exfoliation.
Phase IV: Massage
A facial massage offers relaxation to the client, stimulates the blood and lymph circulation and encourages cell turnover.
Phase V: Treat and Correct
To perform a specialized corrective treatment for a specific skin condition. These treatments can include an ampoule that is applied by hand or with galvanic, a soft mask, or any other high-performance treatment.
Phase VI: Mask
Masks add benefit to a facial and differ from a moisturizer or a finishing cream. Masks normally contain concentrated nutrients and other components to help correct the skin. They help soften, moisturize, tone, and tighten the skin. They can also help draw out impurities from oily or problematic skin. Masks are chosen according to skin type and condition. In a basic facial, it is common to apply a dual mask: an overall mask appropriate for hydrating the dry cheek area and one to treat the oilier T-zone area. Most basic masks have a creamy consistency that remains moist until it is ready to be removed.
Phase VII: Completion
In this final phase, we will restore and rebalance the skin with a freshener (toner), and moisturize and protect the skin with an appropriate sunscreen and/or block. This is also the stage to speak to your Esthetician regarding a home skin care regime.
Mini-facial Information
The main differences between a mini-facial and a basic facial are time and content. Mini-facials are approximately 20 minutes and do not consist of all the steps of a full facial. The omitted steps are the massage, extractions and treatments masks as well as any specialized treatments targeting certain skin conditions. Deep cleansing, exfoliation and moisturization are the key steps in the mini-facial. You can add this to your body treatment for $18.
FAQ’s on Waxing
Is waxing a safe and effective way of hair removal?
Waxing removes hair from the root underneath the skin, not just from the surface, so the hair follicle needs to go through another cycle of re-growth which takes up to 6 weeks, unlike shaving where hair can grow back in days.
How much hair growth do I need to be waxed?
Your hair must be 1/4 to 1/2 inch long to effectively wax it. If you are unsure how long that is, let your hair grow out for approximately 7-10 days. We can assess it at that time.
How often do I need to get waxed?
Your hair grows in three diverse stages therefore you should repeat the initial process three times. Ideally you will want to schedule three appointments allowing two weeks in between. After your third appointment your maintenance will vary depending on your individual hair growth speed. On average a monthly maintenance is suggested.
What can I do to prevent ingrown hairs?
We recommend exfoliating regularly with a Bioelements Cactus Cloth 2 to 3 times a week and you can keep it in your shower. The Cactus Cloth does not harbor bacteria. Cactus Cloth's are available in the retail area of the school.
Do you offer Brazilians?
